As a Project Research Assistant in Metro Vancouver’s
Water Services Department, I supported regional water
infrastructure through data automation, system modeling,
and process optimization. My work spanned automating
data checks for water treatment sensors, auditing legacy
engineering records, and refining lake discharge models.
I also streamlined communication between project
managers and operations by establishing clearer approval
workflows for regional maintenance. Together, these
initiatives reduced administrative delays, improved data
reliability, and supported smoother daily operations
across the system.

Mechanical Design Engineer Intern Genist Systems Design and Simulation Remote 2025
As a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern at Genist
Systems, I led the mechanical design and architectural
layout for a high-speed VTOL emergency response drone. I
conducted aerodynamic CFD and structural FEA simulations
to evaluate flight efficiency and validate components
under critical loading conditions. Additionally, I
collaborated asynchronously across electrical, software,
and manufacturing teams to manage version control and
integrate complex subsystem constraints. My work
established the core vehicle architecture while meeting
all structural, aerodynamic, and manufacturability
requirements.
